Exciting opportunity for an experienced Broadcast Producer to play a key role for RNIB’s Connect Radio; the Sony Award winning radio station for the blind and partially sighted community, setting new standards for international and accessible broadcasting.
Broadcasting online, on FM in Glasgow and across the UK on Freeview 730, we want you to join our team and continue the success of our London satellite studio.
You’ll help create both informative content for the station and training programmes which will encourage blind and partially sighted people into broadcasting; presenting, producing and eventually contributing to the daily schedule of output on the national station.
With extensive experience in broadcast media, you will have an appreciation of the issues debated by the blind and partially sighted community. You'll also be prepared to work as part of a multi-skilled team to help develop the station and establish a professional service to listeners. Based in London, the post will involve some travelling to other studio locations throughout the UK.
